A laid-back neighbourhood hangout at the end of a residential street, Gem features a cozy bar and an old-fashioned rock ’n’ roll vibe due in large part to the fabulous ’61 Seeburg, considered the Cadillac of jukeboxes. Memphis soul, rock and God-fearing country music keep patrons happy as the Christmas lights twinkle overhead. In summer, you’ll have to fight the crowds for a spot on the quaint side patio.
