A victim of its own success, this Belgian brasserie and beer hall gets so crowded on a Friday night that it’s hard to find a table. Though the bar is roomy enough for large groups, the decor (exposed brick and dark woods) makes it feel cozy. And the patio is a pretty place to perch. There are more than 100 beers from 24 countries on offer, but connoisseurs may be disappointed. Apart from a selection of Belgian Trappist offerings, exotic microbrews are scarce and not always in stock. The kitchen fares better. Juicy moules come with a choice of eight different sauces; the grilled king prawns ($27) and traditional Belgian frites ($5) are scrumptious with or without beer. Closes at 1 a.m. Monday to Wednesday; midnight on Sunday.
