The Duke of Gloucester

British pub loyalists are in their element at the Duke. Scarves for Arsenal and Man U adorn the walls, the worn mahogany bar blends with a threadbare floral-print carpet, and servers remind you that it’s called football, not soccer. Thanks to the Duke’s satellite connection, there’s a steady diet of British sports on the big-screen telly. Dartboards in the back are home to two teams that compete in tournaments every Tuesday. The sizable pub menu serves up favourites from the home country, including an all-day British breakfast ($8.50; weekends $9.25, pint included), and a club sandwich ($8.25) with roast turkey that’s carved on-site.
