Revived from less dazzling days, this ultra-relaxed hangout provides the area with a much-loved neighbourhood bar. Hip, intentionally scruffy film production types and roaming east-enders of all stripes fill the place. The eclectic gastro-pub-style menu serves up such standard comfort food as pierogies, jambalaya and three-cheese pasta to be enjoyed with one of the 15 beers on tap. Live jazz six nights a week and a couple of pool tables are added bonuses.
