On the Curve Hot Stove & Wine Bar

It has a weird name, and the location—situated next to Square One—isn’t exactly edgy, but this upscale resto-lounge is one of Mississauga’s hipper nightspots. The crowd consists of couples, professionals and younger singles, who glide between the swanky candlelit dining area (expect an au courant fusion menu) and the curvaceous bar. On the weekend, a crowd swarms the dance floor, swaying under a disco ball to Top 40 beats (provided by a guest DJ or live band). If you don’t feel like dancing, the plush suede sofas cry out for lounging, cocktail in hand. Whenever you go, there’s an impressive wine list, and martinis are a forte; Latin Heat Wednesday features complimentary lessons in Latin dance. A private party room is available for special occasions.

  • Outdoor dining
  • Kitchen open past midnight on weekends
