Located in the heart of the burgeoning Ossington strip between Queen and Dundas, the room is small and functional, dominated by a crescent-shaped bar. The decor leans toward rec room chic: wood panelling, intriguing light fixtures (an illuminated globe hangs over the bar) and dime store knick-knacks. The minuscule kitchen turns out fresh, crisp Tex-Mex dishes. Dig in while watching Coronation Street, broadcast above the bar every Sunday starting at 3 p.m., or while soaking in the rays on the small patio. Tuesday features “Buck-Off Booze” ($1 off all beers), while Throwback Thursday sees Labatt 50, Red Cap and Black Label priced at $3 each. Creemore, Church-Key Northumberland Ale, Wellington County Ale and Wellington Trailhead Lager are the draft options.
