A gay and lesbian crowd ebbs and flows between this pair of converted Victorian townhouses. It’s a veritable three-ring circus; there’s always something going on in the wings. Depending on the night of the week, there might be a drag show in the front room, karaoke in the rear and dancing upstairs. As one of the city’s few lesbian hot spots, the place gets a fair cross-section of women; but ever since they knocked down the wall separating Tango from Crews, the gender mix is about fifty-fifty. One thing everyone has in common is a rowdy spirit. There’s a fairly good selection of draft.
