Cocktail Molotov

Once a design store, this spot is now a drinking den. But the art lingers, a by-product of the creative talents of co-owner Roland Jean—who is, not coincidentally, also part owner of Collision (page 104), up on College. And if you fancy that hang for its rough and ready feel, you’ll be right at home at Molotov. It’s the kind of place where Zappa records are just as likely to take a turn on the table as OutKast, and the crowd won’t ever be described as “the pretty people.” Which is not an insult: the cast of this particular movie is more character actor than would-be starlet, and the better for it.
