Something of a music legend, this venerable tavern helped launch the careers of Holly Cole and the Cowboy Junkies. The log-lined main bar is popular with the university crowd and loyal locals. The menu offers the odd variation on standard burger-and-fries fare, such as fried tofu with soy dipping sauce ($5.25). Wash it all down with one of the 13 beers on tap, including Mill Street Tankhouse, Rickard’s White and Big Rock Traditional Ale. Brunch is served daily.
