A two-level Yorkville bar-restaurant where you can drink a glass of wine in an unpretentious setting, Carens has rooms and patios that are convenient meeting places. There’s a wide range of reasonably priced wines and cheeses (a full menu is also available). The place has an easy, homegrown feeling. The decor is simple and elegant, with orange artwork and small white chandeliers—this is the kind of bar that isn’t trying hard to be something it’s not.
