The vibe is all about comfort: sensual Brazilian tunes, warm jatoba floors, a lustrous bar and an airy restaurant. It’s offset nicely by a little New York flourish: a view of an old fire escape. Patrons come in all stripes (it’s not just martini kids here), while the menu reflects the name—Portuguese for the fruit that bears the cashew nut—with Brazilian dishes. More Bebel Gilberto than “Girl From Ipanema,” thankfully. Closed Sunday and Monday.
