This is the sort of place Thelma and Louise would have visited for a hard drink and a smoke. The wooden floors are well worn, and the walls are decorated with hubcaps and black and white photographs of Johnny Cash. The clientele is a gregarious rockabilly- and country-loving crew; bar staff serve up Wild Turkey and Jim Beam to raucous regulars. Tuesday through Saturday nights bring robust crowds and live tunes (Robert Gordon, Chris Spedding, Wanda Jackson); their bi-monthly kid-friendly event—the Caddy Mommies and Babies Lunch Date—offers stroller parking, change stations, foam floor mats and a 20 per cent discount. The popular patio is open year-round.
