The Boiler House

Although the historic industrial space at this Distillery District gastropub seems cavernous in the early evening, once the theatre crowd arrives and the live music begins, the place warms up considerably. Elegant orchids add a touch of formality to the decor; the stylish, mature crowd performs a similar function. For a more casual experience, perch at the long wooden bar and peruse the extensive drinks list: 26 wines by the glass, an excellent selection of bourbons and single malt scotches, and a respectable array of beers from Okanagan Spring, Sleeman and Unibroue. The restaurant menu is also available at the bar.
