Black Eagle

Catering to the leather and denim crowd, the Eagle pulls out all the stops to lure the bad boys: once-monthly naked nights and wildly popular Sunday-afternoon barbecues, held on the bar’s rooftop patio. Inside, the black industrial decor and hard-core porn can be daunting. But this is one of the more relaxed spots on the Church strip. (Sometimes too relaxed: the crowd often consists of burly middle-aged guys in beards and leather caps standing around, waiting for something to happen.) The drinks are standard issue—mostly bottled beer and draft—but then, drinks aren’t the point.
