Black Bull Tavern

Though it used to be a biker bar, the Black Bull is now an Everyman joint, where regulars hunch over their brews, sometimes mumbling not so quietly to themselves. The decor is determinedly dour, with brown banquettes and nondescript tables lurking below the usual desultory beer paraphernalia. The only distinguishing features are the moulting bull’s head presiding at the Queen Street entrance, occasional displays of local art, and the exceedingly popular—and large—patio.
