This intimate bar is the stuff of romance. Though the space is smaller than a Rosedale living room, the ceiling is worthy of a cathedral and whimsical chandeliers are works of art (the bulbs are adorned with wings). Add vinyl couches, leather armchairs, chocolate brown drapery and flattering lighting, and you’ve got the perfect place for an assignation—or a mere mood-lifting encounter with an imported beer, clear cocktail or flute of champagne. Young professionals in fashionable jackets and figure-flattering dresses provide the lovely scenery, DJs the house-influenced soundtrack.
