Let there be no doubt: our fair city is definitely alive with the, well, you know. You couldn’t escape those singing kids even if you wanted to, what with CBC’s splashy televised hunt for the perfect Maria (and the much-publicized downfall of one of its judges). So why even try? The tenacious governess and her rascally von Trapp charges have been some of everyone’s favourite things for decades now, and show no signs of falling out of fashion. Don’t fight it, lest you end up as lonely as the goatherd. Jeremy Sams directs contest winner Elicia MacKenzie as the problematic postulant. Indefinite run.—Stéphanie Verge
