One might be tempted to argue that Charlotte Corbeil-Coleman’s path was predetermined by genetics: she’s the child of former Passe Muraille artistic director Layne Coleman and novelist and journalist Carole Corbeil. The 23-year-old playwright and actor began her semi-autobiographical work about a teen with lice and a cancer-ridden mom when she was 16, a year after her own mother died. Ahdri Zhina Mandiela directs. Previews from Oct. 4.—Stéphanie Verge
