Factory Theatre has chosen a 2009 Governor General’s Award winner, Kevin Loring’s Where the Blood Mixes, to headline its annual fest of multidisciplinary works. Soon to be reunited with the child he handed over to social services 20 years ago, a First Nations man is riddled with guilt—to what kind of fate did he leave her? April 7 to 18. $25–$35; Sundays PWYC. Cross-Currents, the theatre’s play development festival, runs concurrently. April 4 to 25. By donation.—Stéphanie Verge
