Charging themselves with reflecting the realities of Toronto’s Filipino community, the members of Carlos Bulosan Theatre (Miss Orient[ed]) return with a host of stories that use the Philippines’s peaceful revolution—an impressive non-violent movement that effectively ended the 21-year reign of dictator Ferdinand Marcos—as a backdrop.
