Oh What a Lovely War

The second in Soulpepper’s triad of war plays this season, Joan Littlewood’s 1963 satirical musical about WWI finds the fun in combat with such lyrics as “Up to your waist in water, up to your eyes in slush, using the kind of language that makes the sergeant blush.
