Devoted to the spiritual, mystical and metaphysical, local company Atrium Theatre is a natural fit for this turn-of-the-century work by Belgian writer Maurice Maeterlinck. When the titular holy man shows up at a funeral, worn out by his incessant miracle-working but ready to raise the dead, he doesn’t quite get the reaction he was expecting: the family’s preoccupation with its sizable inheritance makes the prospect of their relative’s sudden Lazarus act a little sticky. Tatiana Choul-jenko directs. Previews from Dec. 3.—Stéphanie Verge
