Bringing east coast quirk to a new level, Cape Bretoner Graeme Gillis has created quite a world for young Newfoundland “Flounder” Willow (Patrick Kwok-Choon). His parents (Martha Burns and Layne Coleman) left on their honeymoon redux, but only Mother has returned. What will become of the family business, a self-published newspaper called The Romantic Times? And that’s on top of the torture of being a recluse obsessed with his synthesizer, his camp girlfriend and life as a cadet. Previews from March 26.—Stéphanie Verge
