Known for their charming spins on conventional fairy tales, brother-and-sister puppeteering team Ann and David Powell remount this Princess and the Pea adaptation for their company’s traditional holiday run at Tarragon. On a dark and stormy night, Queen Daphne must shelter a mysterious stranger in Poshingham Palace, the home that she shares with her son—who is mooning over a maid. Needless to say, Mother is not happy. Puppetmongers stalwart Sue Miner directs.—Stéphanie Verge
