Wavelength 500

Since 2000, the Sunday-night series known as Wavelength has been a boon to local indie musicians of all stripes. This month, its organizers mark the 500th edition in a bittersweet way—bitter because the weekly series is ending (it will continue on a special events basis instead), and sweet because this five-night anniversary blowout features performances by some of the series’ greatest alumni. Along with headline sets by Holy Fuck and the Constantines, the festivities include reunions of such long-defunct Wavelength faves as the Barcelona Pavilion, From Fiction, Neck and Rockets Red Glare.—Jason Anderson
