Shit la Merde at Sneaky Dee’s

A potty-mouthed moniker in both of Canada’s official languages, Shit la Merde is a monthly DJ night that offers indie rock favourites, old-school electro and hip-hop tracks, and dance-punk grooves. As one of the most popular party destinations for indie scenesters who like to wear matching ties and ball caps, Shit la Merde is sure to pack the top floor of Sneaky Dee’s on New Year’s Eve. Expect to hear anything—LCD Soundsystem to Spank Rock to vintage Michael Jackson—from the lineup of DJs: Pammm (whose Lipstick, Cherry night offers equally good times at Stones Place and the Drake Underground), Brian Kim (host of Beat Your Kids, at the Chelsea Room) and Shit la Merde’s genial founder, Dave Binette.
