Roger Hodgson and Logicaltramp

Far more popular on this continent than on their home isle, the prog-pop stylings of British band Supertramp remain dearly loved by a certain generation of Canadians. Here, no classic rock station playlist is complete without the likes of “The Logical Song.” Though the group hasn’t toured since 2002, local devotees are being treated to two different facsimiles. Sticklers for authenticity can catch original singer Roger Hodgson performing solo and Supertramp hits with a symphony orchestra over two nights. Fans who prefer post-1983 Supertramp songs—after Hodgson quit—or are keener on the band’s other singer-songwriter, Rick Davies, can act logically by seeing Logicaltramp, a tribute act that’s been endorsed by members of the real thing. Either way, your lust for “Dreamer” will be sated. Roger Hodgson: Nov. 7 and 8. $40.25–$51.75. Casino Rama. Logicaltramp: Nov. 27. $25–$69. The Living Arts Centre.—Jason Anderson
