A seasonal double bill opens with The Name of the Tree—a traditional African Bantu tale beautifully retold in Celia Barker Lottridge’s book of the same name—about a group of famished animals’ long quest for a special fruit-bearing tree. Ages three to seven. Puppets in Holiday Stories is a grab bag of festive faves, including The Gift of the Magi. Ages four to 10. Reservations recommended.—Hadley Dyer
