The city’s inaugural Festival of Arts & Creativity includes a series of great shows for young culture hounds. Motus O Dance Theatre presents Igor Stravinsky’s ballet Petrushka, the tale of a magical marionette that professes his love for a ballerina doll before making a ghostly escape from his puppet master. In Sampradaya Dance Creations’ innovative Kshetram, India’s classic dance, bharatanatyam, is performed against an audio-visual backdrop inspired by the devotional poetry of saint-poets. All ages. June 6 and 7. $15. Drew Hayden Taylor’s Spirit Horse—an adaptation of Greg Banks’ hit British play Tir Na N’Og—is the story of two First Nations children who hide a magical horse that suddenly appears in their apartment.—Hadley Dyer
