KidSummer: August

  • Various Locations
Bring on the heat and smog—KidSummer’s pursuits keep tots to teens active. Highlights: Jr. Jays rock the Rogers Centre with live entertainment, rides and a chance to run the bases before each Saturday game; the Adventure Valley Day Camp offers warm weather fun on its 20 acres, with nature hikes and cozy campfires (Aug. 2); and there are parachute games and a free performance by Ballet Jörgen in Earl Bales Park (Aug. 21). Turn idle time into do-gooding by helping the Daily Bread Food Bank sort donations (Aug. 6). All ages. Various venues.—Hadley Dyer
