Holly Cole has a special relationship with the songs of Christmas, reaching back to her four-song 1991 EP called The Christmas Blues and her 2001 CD Baby It’s Cold Outside. With a repertoire that ranges from the sensual “Santa Baby” to the longing of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” Cole touches on all the season’s moods. Her regular band is supplemented by an orchestra for the occasion. —Stuart Broomer
