Most musicians have second jobs, but Sigesmund’s is one of the unlikelier ones: he’s a chef who apprenticed at Eigensinn Farm under Michael Stadtländer. Sigesmund also cooks up hot licks on his trombone; his disc, Strands II, was nominated for a 2010 Juno for Best Traditional Jazz Album. This concert features Mark Feldman on violin, and Gary Versace on piano and accordion.
