Wedgwood: Artistry and Innovation

Josiah Wedgwood I (1730–1795) revolutionized the English ceramics industry, and this exhibition, drawn mostly from the ROM’s own collections, shows the fruits of his genius. Offerings include jewellery, cameo medallions, pieces from the table of Catherine the Great, and copies of the Portland Vase, an enormous black basalt creation first produced in the 1780s.—Brent Ledger
