THROUGH THE GARDEN GATE: BEYOND THE BRIDLE PATH
- Various Locations
The popular self-guided tour (and fundraiser for the Toronto Botanical Garden) explores 14 private yards in the lush terrain near Bayview Ridge and Post Road. Verdant hot spots include a Japanese garden, a sculpture garden, and gardens created by such green-thumb stars as Janet Rosenberg (who designed the HTO park with the yellow umbrellas on the waterfront), Mark Hartley and Ron Holbrook. Master gardeners are available on-site to answer questions.—Brent Ledger
