Paging Marilyn Monroe. The much-ballyhooed Libeskind Crystal is the setting for the ROM’s big fall show, a sprawling exhibition showcasing 500 glittering baubles—including a stunning 2,637-piece corsage ornament once owned by Napoleon Bonaparte’s niece, Princess Mathilde. The Nature of Diamonds also traces the gem’s history, its uses and its indelible place in the cultural lexicon.
