Aboriginal actors audition for Hollywood westerns in a performance piece by Terrance Houle that is one of several strikes against stereotypes in this year’s festival of native features, docs, new media and radio works. Highlights include a spotlight on Latin America curated by an expert from the Smithsonian Institute. Derek Miller, Kinnie Starr and Ghostkeeper perform at a music night (Oct. 18, Hard Rock Café, 279 Yonge St.).
