GREAT WATERFRONT TRAIL ADVENTURE TOUR

More than 250 avid cyclists pedal 730 kilometres from Niagara-on-the-Lake to the Quebec border in celebration of the new and expanded Waterfront Trail. Participants are welcome to join the tour for two or three days, but must register. A family-friendly option includes a 100-kilometre ride from Burlington to Pickering, with tickets to Ontario Place thrown in. Organized by the Waterfront Regeneration Trust and touching on 41 communities, 86 wetlands, two wine regions and one Great Lake, the convoy passes through Toronto on July 5 and 6.—Brent Ledger
