Canada Day at Queen’s Park

Since 1967, Torontonians have been flocking to Queen’s Park for Ontario’s official (and very family-friendly) Canada Day celebrations. This year’s attractions include Toronto’s infraRed steel drum band, plus a smorgasbord of international dance troupes and, for kids, stars from Polka Dot Door and Tree House TV. Other attractions include hockey and basketball shot challenges, a “jump box” show exhibiting extreme bike skills, and as always, a 21-gun salute. —Matthew Halliday
