Xing Bang Fu’s classic interpretation of The Nutcracker—which includes his trademark fusion of ballet and the Chinese performing arts—is tailor-made for families. The cast of 50 includes professional Xing dancers, graduates of the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, children from the Jian Dan Ballet School, teenagers from the Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, and members of the dance community at large.—Paula Citron
