Artistic director Christopher House is celebrating TDT’s 40th anniversary season with the world premiere of Dis/(sol/ve)r, a work that examines the ephemeral nature of joy. With the help of collaborators Phil Strong (score and sound design) and Ron Snippe (lighting design), House has created a Gothic mystery play that features dissolving lovers, spiralling bodies, unexpected ambushes and garlands of linked dancers.—Paula Citron
