Toronto Burlesque Festival: Northern Exposure 2008

The city’s top nouveau strip ensembles come together with risqué members of the alternative arts scene to host the first ever Toronto Burlesque Festival. Local, national and international talent will perform stripteases, dance hall routines, magic, circus arts, and variety and drag shows. The opening gala takes place on the Friday at the Gladstone Hotel, the Burlesque Ball on Saturday at the Mod Club, and the Tiki Brunch on Sunday at the Cadillac Lounge. —Paula Citron
