In just a few years, this company’s exciting take on dance fusion has made it an audience darling. Artistic associate Robert Glumbek’s newest work was inspired by his childhood stint at a ballet boarding school in Poland. Guest choreographers are former National Ballet, Ballet British Columbia and Frankfurt Ballet dancer Emily Molnar; and Kevin O’Day, director of Mannheim Ballet, and a former dancer with Twyla Tharp, American Ballet Theatre and Mikhail Baryshnikov’s White Oak Dance Project. Molnar’s commission is inspired by the writings of T. S. Eliot, while O’Day has created a special duet for Glumbek and Molnar.—Paula Citron
