New York–based former Torontonian Jamie Cunningham and his collaborator Tina Croll have been mounting their acclaimed dance project From the Horse’s Mouth all over the United States for the past 10 years. In the travelling live dance-theatre documentary, local dancers and choreographers tell a story about their lives or careers, and then perform short personal movement pieces, with improvised elements thrown in for good measure. In honour of PDT’s 25th anniversary, 25 Toronto dance artists will participate.—Paula Citron
