Created for Baker and New York dancer Larry Hahn, Denise Clarke’s droll physical theatre duet Radio Play was a hit at this year’s Canada Dance Festival. Clarke’s clever fusion of text and movement results in a hilarious encounter between two people from different worlds: an aging dancer forced to look for a day job (Baker) and the human resources staffer conducting the interview (Hahn).—Paula Citron
