Peggy Baker Dance Projects

The works of Montreal visual artist Sylvia Safdie and the scientific writings of Lewis Thomas (The Lives of a Cell) serve as inspiration for the company’s new show, Confluence. The wonderful Baker premieres her solo Earthling, which takes place on a trippy tilted platform. A Doug Varone duet for Baker and Larry Hahn, and Baker’s trio for Kate Holden, Sean Ling and Sahara Morimoto complete the program.—Paula Citron
