A chamber series built around South Asian classical dance and its Canadian hybrid, Horizons showcases some of the form’s top teachers and emerging artists. Canada’s two greatest Kathak dancers share the same stage here: Rina Singha performs her solo Moods of Spring—while her students Laura Otis and Shanta Chikarmane dance Singha works inspired by the same theme—and Joanna de Souza premieres Nava Rasa, a piece inspired by the incisive writings of poet Pablo Neruda.—Paula Citron
