Absent from the stage for several years (with the exception of an appearance at last year’s Nuit Blanche), Kathleen Rea is back with her dance-theatre piece Long Live, featuring original live music by the duo Snowblink. After creating this story of a young woman (Suzanne Liska) coping with the death of her brother (Robert Halley), Rea—whose imaginative style is at once raw, delicate and poignant—roped in a stellar cast: Tom Brouillette and Karen Kaeja as the parents, and Lee Walder, Chelsea O’Brian, Teisha Smith and Marlene Latour as the angels. —Paula Citron
