HCA Dance Theatre

First created for the resident dance company of the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts in 2007, Displace­ment tackles the immigrant experience. The creators—choreographer Robert Glumbek, composer Christos Hatzis and artist Vessna Perunovich—are all immigrants who’ve made significant contributions to Canada’s cultural life. The world-famous Pender­ecki String Quartet also performs.—Paula Citron
