For the first time, FSW has commissioned a work outside the company. Choreographer Sharon Moore took up the challenge with her quintet Bliss, which depicts, with compassion and humour, the hold the dead have over the living. Marie France Forcier’s quartet Gold maintains that dreams, fantasies and hallucinations reflect our true desires much more so than our conscious state.—Paula Citron
