Conductor Boris Brott and the National Academy Orchestra of Canada make up the musical contingent of the festival’s dance program, entitled It’s Love, Actually! Offerings include Richard Wagner’s prelude to Tristan und Isolde, and Leonard Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances From West Side Story; National Ballet of Canada principal dancer Chan Hon Goh and her partner, Aleksandar Antonijevic, perform pas de deux from Pyotr Ilich Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty and Romeo and Juliet.
